Granola Bars! (with chocolate chips of course!) |
So many (each pan makes 16 and I made 3 pans!) |
My solution was to portion out the ingredients into Ziploc bags, number the bags and put directions on them. I have a stand mixer so all he will need to do is dump things in. Here's what it looked like when I was finished.
Shouldn't be too hard to do. Add things in order and follow directions on each bag! |
All the dry ingredients you need to make granola bars (not including an egg, vanilla and honey) |
My husband really did run on our treadmill last night! I am so super proud of him! I had to go in and teach him how to use it (I'm not sure he's ever run on a treadmill before). He ran for two minutes and then walked for a minute and repeated that for about 20 minutes. And of course his nice easy pace is 12:00 per mile, around my current "this is hard but I can hold it" pace. He wanted to see how fast he could go without sprinting so at the end of his run he upped the speed until it felt like he was going to be sprinting if he went much faster and he got the treadmill up to 7 mph, which is an 8:24 mile! (to be fair the fastest I can do without feeling like I am sprinting is about 6 mph).
My sweet husband ordered a pizza for us to eat for dinner while I was out running. It got to our house right as I was sitting down to enter my workout into my log. It was such a nice surprise after my run!
I have bible study again tonight. These week we actually had a lesson to prepare for so it will be nice to get to actually have stuff to say. I am very much an internal processor and I am usually not any good at answer serious or deep questions without any preparation. In groups like this I tend to say very little, mostly because by the time I have thought about the question and gotten my answer ready, the group has moved on to the next question. So since I know the questions in advance, I should be able to talk some tonight.
