Today my husband and I left for our trip. We got up around 6:30 and finished the last of our packing. I took the puppy for a walk while my husband packed up the car. When I got back from the walk, we headed out.
Before we left, we stopped by a friend's house to lend them our truck for their move this weekend and by another friend's house to drop off the puppy for the weekend. They have a black lab and she is about three times as big as my puppy so they should have some fun.
We then drove to St. Louis. We checked into our hotel and then went to dinner at Houlihans. After dinner we drove over to the Arch. I had been when I was younger but my husband had never been there before. It was sunset so everything was beautiful and it was nice out. We had a great time and it was really neat to see it all again.

After the Arch, we were both pretty tired, so we went back to hotel and relaxed for the evening. The hotel is really pretty cool, each room is named after an English author, poet or playwright and they have some of the author's work in each room.
