Vacay Day 14 - Shopping

This morning I got up and did my run, although it was quite a bit later than usual, not until around 6:45.  It was hotter than usual, but I did get my speed up faster than it has been for a while.  Since my runs are getting shorter as my race is getting closer, I thought I should push my pace a little more.

After my typical morning stuff, my mom, aunt, cousin and I went shopping together for dresses for my cousins wedding in August.  We were out shopping from 11 until almost 5. We all got a few things, both for the wedding and other things.  Shopping is getting more fun as it is becoming easier to find things that fit me.  I think I tried in more things than everyone else combined.  It probably helped that both my mother and my aunt, in addition to me, were looking for clothes for me.

For lunch we went to Panda Express.  I am not a real fan of Chinese food in any form, so I just ate some of my mom's fried rice and a fortune cookie.  It was very full in the restaurant, so I held the table for us while the others got their food.  It is very very common to hear Spanish spoken, but it was still a little jarring to hear a long conversation in Spanish in a Chinese restaurant.

After our shopping trip, we ordered pizza for dinner and my sister and her husband came over for a little while.  I hadn't seen her since Christmas, so it was nice to see her.  I also got to apologize to her for making fun of her all the time when we were younger for being so cold.  She has always been skinny and so she often got cold when the rest of us were just fine, or even warm.  Now that I have lost weight, I get cold when others are not, so I understand how she felt.
Me and my sister (almost 10 years ago).  She almost always had on her jacket, now I get it.
