After my run, I realized that between Saturday and this morning (4 days) I have run just shy of 21 miles! That's over 5 miles a day (on average)! Craziness!
After I got cleaned up from my run, I grabbed a granola bar and went to pick up my husband. He had left earlier to drop his car off to have an oil change and some minor work done on it. We got back around 10:45, so I decided not to eat a "real" breakfast since I was having lunch with a friend at 11:30. I read a running magazine that I had gotten at my race in Canada until it was time for me to head out to meet up with her. We went to a place called Piada's which is Italianish. It is pretty good, very filling and always more than I can manage to eat. We hadn't really seen each other at all this summer, so we had a good time catching up.
After we ate, we browsed around Williams-Sonoma and I found a present for my parents to get my husband for Christmas! My mom finds him difficult to shop for, so I try to pick up things he will like when I see them. This was inexpensive and I think he will like it (he has started reading my blog so I cannot post what I got him!) They also had a Star Wars cupcake decorating kit which was pretty neat. My brother, husband, several friends and I all like Start Wars so I thought it was cute. I didn't buy it, but I did take a picture of it.

Sorry about the cruddy picture. It never fails, every time I leave my camera at home, I find something to take a picture of. |
When we got there, parked and walked over to the library, it was closed! My husband was a little frustrated but I was ok with it. We stopped by Dairy Queen and got ice cream on the way home. I love me a Blizzard! When we got home, I did some editing of a few of the pictures we took in Canada. The colors were washed out in about 50 of the pictures my husband took one day so yesterday I did a quick mass edit to those pictures to see if I could improve them and had my husband take another look at them. Most of them were improved enough that he was satisfied with them but he had 10 that he would like me to take another crack at. It took me about 3 minutes to figure out what was going to work best to make the text more readable, but once I found a system that worked, I was able to get them done quickly.
