I didn't pick a very good spot for our picture since we were all squinting but at least I got one. |
After hanging out with them, we headed to New Braunfels to have a late lunch with the both of the extended families (the bride's and the groom's), minus the wedding party. There ended up being about 30 of us who took over the hotel's dining area. It was good conversation and it was fun for those of us who didn't get to go to the rehearsal dinner to get to know the groom's family a bit.
After lunch, I convinced all of the girls to go get a pedicure. There was a total of 8 of us! We completely took over the place we went to, but we had a great time. One aunt and cousin had to hurry and leave early since they had to go back to their hotel to get ready (the rest of us brought our stuff with us and changed in the one room we had nearest to the venue) so I didn't get to include them in the foot picture.
After that, we headed off to get ready. We got to the venue at about 6:10 and were seated by around 6:20. The wedding started a little bit after 6:30 and it was very special. It was outdoors and we were all a little bit worried about it being too hot, but it was actually rather pleasant and there was nice little breeze. After the ceremony we all went inside to the reception where we ate, drank and danced. It was a wonderful, fun time for all of us.
