This morning I woke up at around 6, but decided to lay back down and see if I could go back to sleep. I ended up sleeping until a little after 7 and I only got up then because I felt like I had to. I had a meeting scheduled with my principal (work is coming up soon!) to chat about the upcoming year and I wanted to make sure I was in no rush to get there. I was still kind of sleepy so I had some of my English breakfast tea (I bought more at the grocery store when I went on Saturday) to help wake me up.
I spent the morning getting things organized for my meeting and for the errands I planned on running after the meeting. Whenever I actually go out in the summer, I typically do all off my errands at once. So after my meeting with my principal, I went to Hobby Lobby, Old Time Pottery, Victoria's Secret and Kohl's. I had a good conversation with my principal. He had told me on Friday that I was going to be the math department chair this year. He didn't have time for me to ask a bunch of questions when he told me (he was in between meetings) so I made the appointment with him to sit down and be able to ask him.
I then went out and did my errands. I didn't find what I wanted at Hobby Lobby but I did see these cute Texas themed scrapbook stickers, which was really cool for me. Normally I can only find Texas stuff in Texas (I guess it's not a big seller in Ohio.)
When my mom came to visit me a few months ago, we got here some bowls and plates for Old Time Pottery and she decided that she wanted some more and asked if the next time I was out that way I would get her some, so I went there. I got one of the free panties coupons in the mail for Victoria's Secret, which is why I went there. I didn't end up getting anything else, but there were some things I might go back and check out later. At Kohl's, I used my 30% off mailing and hit up the clearance section. I didn't get to go through everything but I scored some good deals on the stuff I bought.
I had to be home by noon since both my husband and I are getting our windshields fixed by Safelite (we both had some major cracks going on and since our insurance covers it, why not?). They said they would be at our house between 12 and 5. They got to our house around 12:30 and got to work on the windshields. They finished both of our cars by around 2.
I spent a good chunk of my afternoon preparing for bible study tonight. We only have two more, tonight and next week. I feel like I have only kind of been part of it since I have been out of town so much, but I am glad to have been there for the days that I was in town.
I went running with my friend again this afternoon. I had missed getting to run with her and I am glad that I \shouldn't have to miss any more runs with her before our half marathon. I made the "mistake" of telling her that I was trying to push my tempo pace a little because she definitely pushed me! I did my fastest tempo run ever! We averaged an 11:24 mile pace. I was just trying to be at an 11:45. It is good to know that I can go that fast for that long (40 minutes = 3.51 miles).
I went to bible study and had a good time. There were only 8 of us there so I did more talking than usual. I didn't stick around as long afterwards to chat because I am getting up tomorrow morning to do this weekend's long run early. We are going to my cousin's wedding so I am not sure I will have time to do it so I am just going to go ahead and do it early. I have never done long runs this close together so tomorrow will be interesting.
