I spent the first part of the morning doing some basic cleaning and then worked on another part of another book for my husband. After that, my dog decided he wanted to play, so he got his chew toy and started pawing at my legs so that I would play with him. I took a break and threw his toy for his a few times. It only takes him about 10 minutes to get tired and just wants to chew his toy.
After the 10 minutes were up, I finished the copying and then did some more cleaning. I swept the kitchen floor, wiped the counters, cleaned off the tables, loaded the dishwasher, cleaned some of the walls and organized my freezer. I was planning on going to the grocery store this morning to get a few of the fresh foods I keep in the house (grapes and salad) but by the time I finished everything, it was time for my husband to be heading home from class, so I asked him to stop by. He said he would, which made me super happy.
My husband brought home our groceries and we had lunch. My husband told me some about his morning and I enjoyed getting to sit and listen. After that, my husband brought in more stuff for me to make digital copies of and that kept me busy until about 4. At 4 I went to take a nap and rested for about an hour. After my nap, I vacuumed the upstairs before I head back downstairs.
Waiting for me in my e-mail was a video announcing the winner of the World's Favorite Cosby Sweater! My husband really likes Bill Cosby and I think has seen pretty much every episode of the Cosby show. A couple of months ago, Bill Cosby's website started a March Madness style contest to pick the World's Favorite Cosby Sweater. It was kind of fun for us and I guess you if voted, they e-mailed you a link to the video announcing who won. The final vote was between the two sweaters below and the winner is announced towards the end of the video.
These were the two finalists!

After dinner, my friend and I did our run. It has been so hot lately that we pushed back our run. Unfortunately, I didn't leave enough time between eating dinner and running, so the whole run was pretty miserable for me. I felt like I was going to puke for about half of it and 2/3 of the way through, I had to stop for a minute to be sure I wasn't going to barf. I then walked for 2 minutes and then ran for the remainder of the time I was supposed. As soon as I got inside, I drank a bit of water and then went down to my treadmill to make up the two minutes I walked. This way, I still did run for 30 minutes, even if there was a small break in the middle.
After my shower, I relaxed until bedtime. Tomorrow is the last day before my in-laws come to town, so I will be making sure that my house is all clean. I will also be prepping for a couple of meals to make while they are here.
