Today after breakfast I started cleaning the basement. The best things about cleaning the basement is that since that is where my Roomba lives, I don't really have to worry about vacuuming (yay for not having to lug the vacuum down a flight of stairs). I spent the first part of the morning organizing the computer desk and my crafting area. I finally put all my crafting stuff into some semblance of order and now I know where everything is. This did lead to problem of needing more storage. The stuff I am not using currently fits away nicely, but the stuff I am currently using for some project does not. I could put it all away, but since I work on them so haphazardly it would be very unfun to have to get out what I need each time I want to work on one of them.
So I went out to Target (I also went to Joanne's Fabrics for some bobbins and to Lowe's to get a spare key made) to find thing to hold my projects. I ended up settling on some fabric drawers in three different sizes and one collapsible laundry hamper for my occasional more massive project (usually and afghan). I headed home and then put all of my project stuff into the appropriately-sized bin. I think it worked out rather well. I didn't currently need the large project hamper, so I kept it folded up and stashed it next to my desk. I think that those bins are going to come in very handy. It also means that I get back all of the small fabric shopping bags I was using to hold the projects.
After I got home I had lunch with my husband and then played a few games of Monopoly Deal (I won all 3!) with him before I got back to work on my cleaning. I finished the last of my organizing and then I swept and mopped the unfinished part of the basement. While I was waiting for that part to dry, I helped my husband out by downloading some old newsletters of some historical organization that he wanted to have on hand. It it easy work, just repetitive and a bit tedious, which was a nice break from my cleaning.

After my snack I went and took a nap. I've been taking once almost daily for the past week and I have really enjoyed them. This one was on the shorter side, only an hour or so. After my nap it was time for dinner. We (my husband and I) sat and ate dinner while we watched an episode of The Big Bang Theory, which always seems to be on.
After dinner I ran out to the store to get more grapes (we were out again!). While I was there I got a few other things for me to eat for lunches. Since I am home all day during the summer, it is easy for me to want to run out and get some fast food for lunch since I am home all day, especially on the days my husband has class. So I got a few things that will give me options for what to eat a lunch.
After that, I pretty much did nothing worth writing about for the rest of the evening. I played some on the computer, watched some tv, did a little reading, but nothing super exciting. I did do some updating on my blog and added the one missing race report in my list. It is from what I think is the most fun 5K I have done so far (it involves me running in a costume so if you are bored you should check it out here).
