Sunday and Last Minute Cross Training

This morning I got up and finished prepping things for Sunday School.  We started a new lesson series today and I was in charge of getting the stuff all separated by week.  I worked on the separating yesterday, but I didn't get the binder (or all the paperwork to go in it) ready.  I got that ready in time, but I didn't realize we didn't have a spare binder in the house so we had to stop by the store on the way and I didn't plan enough time so we were about 15 minutes late!  Thankfully, I didn't have to actually teach this morning and the kiddos don't start the lesson until about 20 minutes after church starts, so I was there before she needed her supplies.

After church we went home and ate lunch and then I took a nap.  It has been warmer here lately and I can tell in the afternoon when I take a nap.  Typically my dog snuggles with me when he gets to sleep on the bed (which is only when my husband is not on the bed) but today he didn't want to snuggle up with me.  He put a paw on my stomach and then sprawled out away from me and my body heat.

After my nap, I worked on a photo editing project for my husband.  It simple but tedious.  I also had to be more exact than I might have if it was just for me since he had a specific way that he wanted it done and I didn't want to mess it up.

After I got that done, I saw that my grandma had e-mailed me the pictures she took of our vacation, so I added those to my digital album and printed out a few she took at our 5K for my run book.  I went out to pick up those printed pictures from Walgreens and then got my husband and I Wendy's for dinner.  "They got our order exactly right!  We both don't like specific things on our burgers and typically something gets left off that one of us wanted or put on that one of us didn't want so our orders can be a bit more challenging than is typical.

After dinner, I starting putting together the three new pages in my run book.  I haven't put any new pages in since the beginning of May, so my last three races all needed to be done.  I got the pictures I want in them cut down and sorted out and I am currently working on the words.  I always put in the basic info about the race as well as a paragraph about the race.  Not actually about the race itself, but more about what made this race special and why I did that particular one.

So I actually posted this and had headed off towards bed, when I realized I still had to do my cross training for the day.  I hurried upstairs and changed into a workout outfit and then went downstairs and did a session of Zumba o our XBox Kinect.  It had been a while since I had done Zumba and I had forgotten how tiring it could be.  I can run 3 miles without a problem but dancing for those 25 minutes was exhausting!  I did it though and I was glad I didn't just skip it.
This is the Zumba game I own.  There are several others.
