This morning, we went to church (where I taught Sunday School). I was glad that I remembered to bring the crocheted Luke and Han in Stormtrooper costumes to give to my friend's kids. They really liked them. At first they didn't realize that the helmets came off so they thought they were just regular Stormtroopers, but when they figured out what they had, they were super excited
On our way home from church, we stopped by a local camera store to try to pick up something, but they were closed, boo! We did find another place to go after we had gotten home, but it wasn't so fun to have to get back out.
I was really stressed this afternoon which lead to me being grumpy and unhappy and trying to pick a fight with my husband. He is really good at reading me, and very rarely lets me pick a fight with him. He is also really good at teasing out what is underlying my unhappiness, so we ended up having a good talk, after I yelled and cried.
After all that, I was exhausted and took a late nap. My husband had to wake me up for dinner. We went and got Arby's as a main course and then ate stuff from home for sides. It was a nice cheap way to eat out.
After dinner, I did some cleaning to let my food digest and then I did some "cross-training". I almost always use that term lightly and this time probably even more so. I didn't feel like messing with any of my other options for cross training, so I walked slowly on the treadmill on a steep incline (starting a 5 and going to 10!) and did some light weights with my arms. I didn't really want to break a huge sweat, but I wanted to move. It was very tempting to run after all the stress of the day, but I didn't and I am sure I will be glad of that tomorrow.
My blog posts may be short or nonexistent for a the next two weeks because of some stuff going on up here. I will tell you all about it once it is over. I will hopefully be able to do a race report on Saturday and after that time, it should all be back to normal, whatever that looks like.
